Darkness in dreams represents the dark part of our psyche, our shadow. That means the part of ourselves that everyone else sees but me and it is difficult for me to accept it, but includes my best potential to development. This is the part of the psyche with wich we start our process in therapy.
It can represent the influence of the moon and female energy on the dreamer.
