The casino represents the dangerous relaxation. It is a game that resembles a child's game, but is actually very dangerous. We associate the automaton with automatic functioning, in which, after you get caught up in it, you are like on autopilot, which forces you to persevere, and from which you can no longer get away. You don't have your will, your thoughts, your actions. Money in a dream represents vital energy, and the gambler devotes a great deal of this vital energy to this automatic operation, which would be better spent in other areas of life.

Every addiction is connected to a maternal complex. The feeling is similar to the one of being in a womb, where you’re in a warm, safe place, where nobody can harm you. But if one stays there too long, it is dangerous for an individual to stay in there trapped forever, without any chance of progress in life.

It indicates the automatic behaviour once you fall into the trap – as if being on the autopilot. It feels good, you’re relaxed and a bit under adrenalin. Serotonin and dopamin are augmenting, supported by adrenalin, afterwards followed by a period of loosing its effects, falling into a very bad feeling until the edge and without any money (energy) left.
